Marco Hernandez is a proud American immigrant, family man, hard worker and neighbor who wants to ensure that
Clark County is a fair and quality place for all people to call home. Marco Hernandez has a unique perspective on the needs
of our community, because he has lived in District E since he was fifteen. His children attend the Clark County school district, his
father is a senior living in District E and over the years, Marco has participated in community events, volunteered for
youth activities & sports, and has also organized and participated in neighborhood cleanups.
Growing up with his stepmother who worked on the Planning County Commission in California inspired Marco to help others.
Marco Hernandez also understands the personal needs of the everyday citizen. Marco has been working hard for an honest
wage since high school. He started in the service/casino industry as a young adult and has spent most of his career as a proud union
member with the Laborers Local 872. Marco moved quickly up the ranks giving him firsthand knowledge and background in the
necessary means for job creation from the ground up, from landowner, to developer, to workers’ rights.
Marco’s knowledge of creating jobs, quality growth, successful business and most importantly his understanding of the
needs of the people in our community is the reason Marco is the best choice to serve on the Clark County Commission.
